Does anyone make a Ti-Nitride shaft for the Hotbodies shock? I tried the Losi (#LOSB1112) one but I can't get the e-clips on. The piston covers the groove. What are others using and where to get them?
Thanks

I've had a similar problem when trying to use Associated pistons on an HPI shock shaft. The HPI pistons are thinner than the Associated. My solution was to sand down the Associated pistons. It worked fine.

It looks as if those are for the bigger shocks. Am I wrong?
Thanks

Are you talking about the center shock or the side shocks. The part number i gave is for the center.

From what I understand, the Silva piston and e-clips fit perfectly on the Losi gold shaft and in the Hotbodies shock. I do not know for sure, but this is what I was told.

They will both work. The Silva piston has larger holes to flow more oil. I have both sets to give me more "tuning" to the shock. The Silva shock shaft makes the shock fit better than the Hot Bodies do.

The part number for the Hot Bodies shock is 61228 (Shock Shaft - 30mm titanium coated). The part is relatively new so you may need to contact Hot Bodies direct or order on line.

The part number does not show up on the HB USA site only on the Europe site, therefore you may have to make the phone call. They are in stock at the HB Foothill Ranch, CA location.
