Priced @$7.49 I got the last three, I'll hit another Menards tomorrow to see if they have others.

Saw them at Walmart today, didn't have the cash but I know they will be there when I do. Looks like I got tools for my new race center.

I picked up the same three at Walmart aroung Halloween. Also picked up two Winner's Circle Pit Row sets off the bay to get the pit crew guys. Now all I have to do is build a garage......right...like that will happen any time soon the way I procrastinate. LOL

last time I looked, we had these at our Menards too. I had already picked them up from Minimotors(they were hand delivered. Now THAT is service!) so I left them on the shelf. They had a bunch. Go figure

The Super WalMart in Sanger, about 10 minutes from me, even has LifeLike sets and cars this year. I had to go to Toys-R-Us before in Clovis, that's 20 minutes in the other direction. I asked the manager yesterday if this was seasonal stuff and he said they would have stock on hand through New Years. I live 5 minutes away from the ghetto WalMart, won't go there anymore after the latest round of vehicle burglaries.

The sources that once offered these garage scene sets under the Motormax line seem to be out. Did the product line change hands?

I'll take a wild guess here, but remember, it's a only a slightly educated guess. This time of year, the stores that don't usually carry cool stuff (like my Walmart) buy up big shipments of cool stuff. This is to give us normal folk who like buying cool stuff a brief glimmer of hope, that after January 2nd, and the last of the returns are finally marked down and sold, that the cool stuff will be restocked. (but it never arrives) This is to try to get us back in the store at least 4 or 5 times looking for the cool stuff we hoped would be there and isn't, and for the chance that one or more of our kids will torment us into buying them some over priced uncool junk that they think is cool... Does this make any sense?? I hope so....:freak:

Yes it's a 69 GTO

I took a look @ Walmart, They had a few but Priced @$8.93 ea. so I walked out. I picked up four more from the other Menards in town.

The parts alone are worth the $7.00+. I checked thw two local Wally's and like others here, nothing. Doesn't surprise me. Can't recall the last time I was able to give Wally some cash. :rolleyes: rr
