Actually, they ceased to be real cars in the early 60's. But I think I know what you mean, they at least looked like real cars. Unfortunately, NASCAR is really not much different than real cars. Have you noticed how most cars resemble a bar of soap? The auto makers did not want NASCAR to run the pony cars in the Nationwide series. Why? Because they can sell them and don't need the advertising. You would think that maybe they would then understand that people don't want all their cars to look alike...

Exactly! Although, I'd agree with you on the cars of today and their resemblance to soap bars. ;) rr
