Leading Edge RC is excited to bring you "The Future". Our latest oval
offering incorporates many of the same features as our successful Hangman
kit, with additions that point it directly into the future!
As R/C racing leaves NiMh technology behind and looks towards Li-Po, we
are proud to introduce an exclusive Li-Po chassis that leaves cell slots
behind and provides the racer with adequate room to lay a speed controller
down flat and securely tape the battery pack on the chassis. This also
enables the racer to add and better control left side weight percentages. We
also added two side tape slots on the inside and corresponding "notches" on
the perimeter of the chassis that keeps your tape from being pinched or cut
in a hard left side collision. Our team drivers indicate that the
re-designed symmetrical cutouts on either side of the t-plate provide a well
balanced feel. As always, you have the option of running the t-plate in the
centered or offset position, as well as short (10") or long (10 3/8)
wheelbase configuration.
"The Future" can be purchased as a simple replacement chassis plate for your
Hangman or Hangman Li-Po car, or as a full conversion kit as all the Leading
Edge kits have been available in the past.

Yes the crossbrace will fit both the 4 cell and Lipo Hangman.

Yes the bumper IS included in the kit, I have made some minor changes to it and I did not have one cut when the photo was taken. The new Future will have the same retail price as our Hangman. I should have the first run of them ready in the next couple of days.

DW,Dan Mead callin.Spoke with you awhile back in regard to the DC-1 chassis.Got ahold of a new one,works great.With the new future kit,is this more for carpet or dual duty? Running carpet only w/ 13.5 Li-Po.When you can,post some pics of a roller please.Thanks.

well dusty kemp ran one last saturday night at ft wayne and broke the track record -tq -and one !i would say it was working pretty good

Car looks great...who has the chassis in stock?

No one......YET. Dave is workin on them now,so i would give it a week or so maybe sooner........but there coming and I am SURE this will be the car to beat!!!!

I have a few kits ready and some will be shipping out today.

The crossbraces are available separately and yes they will fit the Hangman.

what kind of pod plates are ya'll running,irs or crc, extended or not?

Both work good, and racers are using both. You want the STD ones, not the extended.
