I am just curious on how far it is for everybody to go to the different tracks we are planning to race on this year in the GASCAR series.

1) LPR Montgomery, Alabama

2) Carolina R/C Complex Easley, S.C.

3) Rock Hill Rock Hill, S.C.

4) J&M Speedway (Formally Lakeside Speedway) Clover, S.C.

#4 is not on the schedule, but has been leased by Jeff and Melissa of J&M Hobbies. They will be running several Quarter Scale races there this year.

1) 2hrs ~ 125mi.

2) 4.75hrs ~ 300mi.

3) 6.5 hrs ~ 392mi.

4) 6hrs ~ 375mi.

With two races at each venue, #1,#2 & #3, I am looking at 2900mi., proably a few hundred more for running around and such.

I need someone to check out the Clover track and see if it is still smooth enough for the 10th scales. I raced it two or three years ago and it was OK then.

The concrete oval at Bethany (clover) was super smooth last time i ran on it. The Lakeside (asphalt) track was still smooth enough for 1/10 scale. But that was 2005. Both those tracks are good.....especially Lakeside........for nitro. Its big, but those .12 motors get to haulin.

Lin, contact Jeff Davis... in the QSAC forum. He can help verify the track since he has recently leased it. I agree with Tim, the big track is an awesome nitro track!!

I talked to Jeff the last time we were at Easley and he told me about the Clover deal but he is not going to do anything with the Concrete track. 2005 was the last time I was there too so I don't know about the condition of it now.

The thing that bothered me when I talked to Jeff about it, HE brought up the smooth part!!!!
