Hello everyone
My name is Matt Shipway, i would like to get some information on how to get a fast car
the track runs 1/32 cars, there is a muscle car class and a lemans class, let me know what you think, i havent found a car for lemans yet, but for muscle car i have ordered
scalextric: c2760
1970 ford musting
i am very competitive, so would like to know some tricks to give me an edge, the trakc is just bieng built as we speak, he said to keep it box stock, is this a decent car box stock?, what tricks can you share me, change the motor? he said we will be putting better rear tires.
also, what car would you recommend for me for the lemans class
i wanted the fly models, chip ganassi one with the target paint scheme, but it is rather pricey
let me know you can also email me at

Matt, the Mustang isn't a bad car but 1/32nd scale has very limited magnetic track attraction right out of the box. The high center of gravity is a tough contender. As far as Fly cars, they're good but I found the Slot It cars to be better. I raced the Slot It Lancia last year and found it to be a good all around car. The Jaguar is another good choice. You would also be surprised how much difference a good set of silicone tires will do.

If you want a good tunable car look into the Carrera DTM cars, especially the Audi. If you can find the Carrera Red Bull BMW M3, even better. These cars have a metal plate in the bottom that allow you to reposition the traction magnet without taking the car apart. You can also buy supplemental magnets but check with your track rules before you do.

Welcome Matt, you'll never go wrong listening to our man Pete! You may also want to post this in the 1/32 section as well.

Slot.it. You get what you pay for in this case.
