most likely i'll be just running pancar for this one.need all the good stix for 1 class this time.if enough interest i might. ken, i'm finally taking the kid down to madness tomorrow early to get him some practice time but i cant race.have to be back home early.

This is going to be another big two day weekend race... Saturday on the flats and Sunday is the SK Shootout on the banks.... Let all the wifes know now... Get those permission slips signed...

romo, no i think its dec 28th.the same weekend as madness trophy race. then nothing for the next few weeks.wish races could be spaced apart more.

For some reason traction was hard to come by this past Sunday (Touring Car) it must have been something that Saturday running oval. I went through my Dual after the last trophy race to see why my lap times dropped off so much in the main and found a seized rear axle bearing and the driver blowing the corners didn't help much. LOL!! Looking forward to this one.

Yea now you know what we are up against. Every time we oval guys get to the track the traction has to be developed Because of the touring car running the wrong way aganist the grain that is why the oval turnout is so low if the track was an only oval track it would be much better but we know that is imposible.So if you want to race you just have to run in the groove . I don't think 21.5/2C LiPo is going to take off at Madness for the SK class because of the speeds and lack of traction in that track. Also the speeds will seem a little too fast for the avg. driver skill level.

If you guys are looking to go LiPo, Your best bet would be 13.5/1C LiPo. These speeds are closer to stock 17.5/4 Cell. Just remember you must run a receiver pack when running 1C LiPo.

ahhh come on we use to run 6 cell stock there in SOLID SK chassis. 4 cell SK didnt happen until Montville really ran them every week. All the SK enfield racers did was run them like crazy down the straights then slowed WAY WAY down in the corners. The main reason why they went from 6cell to 4 cell was because of cost of 2 extra cells and going through tires more often than 4cell and the NEOT tour ran 4 cell so it was easier to just build a 4 cell car.
The biggest issue they had was they didnt want to slow down but funny thing was they went just as fast in 4cell as they did 6cell.The car was just more driveable, traction will come in just takes time.

KK,and Mike,I've had some new 4-cell packs from Powerpush for like 2 weeks already,and I'm already tired of babysittin them :freak:..........LOL

yea keep it one piece, I talked to ray on the phone he said he was going to try it out in practice. I am interested in hearing how it goes.
