stang_crazy 11-27-2008, 02:43 PM LTNS.
Havent been around in a while, but now im back. Just got moved into a house in the last couple months, Sooooo now I have room for all my stuff, now my question is how to display it all.
Obviously shelves for the 1/24-25th scale die cast and anything else in boxes.
But what about like hot wheels & JL's ect.. that are in packages?
Would love to see how you all display your stuff.
Id rather not put a million holes in my walls so any helpfull ideas would be great.
Atencio 11-27-2008, 03:01 PM You could put a peg board or some other type of board on your wall and then attach the blister packs to it.
Another thing I saw that was cool was a rotating rack. Might be hard to find a used one but they don't see like they would be hard to make.

You can use those plastic merchandising strips that are used at Wal-Mart on the end of a isle or in the middle of the of the isles.

This is but one of many people that sell these strips on line but you can pick them up real easy at Wally World...but take a word of advice you will need to ask a sales person or they can get really mean at times. One small push pin with hold as many as you want to hang on connected stirps. I used them for a long time before I started opening and displaying in those acrylic display cases. Good luck and welcome back, olesarge90/Gill
harristotle 11-27-2008, 08:13 PM This is how I do it. All the boards came from Michael's. You will still need 2 nails for each board. I've put 2 more up since this pic.

As for my larger cars I have mounted 2 rows of shelves along the ceiling in a room of my house. The top row is smaller(10") and the bottom is 12".http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/johnsZ28/2008_11300007.jpghttp://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/johnsZ28/2008_11300009.jpg
computer guy 12-01-2008, 01:45 PM Michaels Craft Stores have been carrying the Boards around here.
Turcicus 12-06-2008, 01:15 PM What's the most affordable way to display loose 1:64 cars? I like the acrylic display cases but the ones I find at mass retail (like the JL ones) are expensive and don't hold many cars.
olesarge90 12-07-2008, 01:03 PM I would like to invite you to look at the many on line acrylic display case dealers.
There you will finds the likes of Carney Plastics and many others that sell a whole host of display cases. All of which are relatively easy to hang. Carney Plastics is a supporter here on HT.
I now have three 108 count display cases that I obtained from Giovanni Plastics ; however, Giovanni has since been purchased by Carney. As far as the cost of displaying a car, these worked out to be less than $1.00 each to display and that includes shipping costs as well. Good luck on your hunt...olesarge90/Gill
stang_crazy 12-27-2008, 08:48 PM i checked a michaels craft store in a city about an hour away, and they said they dont carry them anymore :(
id be happy if i could find a place online, only thing would be shipping.
