back in the day the whip had races with hand out batteries and motors i think they were sport works from trintiy?

now that trinity has COT batteries and motors would it be cool to have a

sportsman race and like they did at the whip an invitational race where everyone ran the same stuff...COT they were some of the largest races at the whip and guys around here still talk about those races..

Trinity Speedworks Sportsman cup race on January 1-3,1992. Invational and sportman classes. Handout motors and preassembled 1400 scr red cells that were welled in a side by side pack. If you had a bad weld they had to fix it for you. There were 50 sponsored and 100 sportsman drivers. It was my first A main in a large event felt great to race against equal motors and batteries, had to set the car up free because you were in a turn the whole time.
