ScottD961 11-26-2008, 05:35 PM Nice video of Smokey. But does he have his own slotcar yet? Hmmmm didn't see one in the video ! LOL
Pete McKay 11-26-2008, 06:33 PM Soon Scott, right now he and white cat are trying to chew the new trees down to stumps so they're not allowed at track side anymore. Once I spray them with ammonia they'll leave them alone.
He does that number on the back of the chair because I eat at my computer desk most of the time, and he can see what I have. Then he will either reach across and tap me or if he's really hungry he'll just jump over to my shoulder. Cat gets premium $1.50 a can food, eats better than I do and all he wanted this morning was my S.O.S. and hash browns.
Bill Hall 11-26-2008, 09:04 PM Silly human!
People food is WAAAAAAAY more interesting than what's in the bowl!
slotcarman12078 11-26-2008, 09:33 PM Maybe we will need to have a HT cat convention, where everyone's cats can get together, discuss things like why controllers are not feline ergonomically designed, the best way to catch a hopped up T-Jet, which is better, regular litter or the clumping kind, and have heated debates on important things like what tastes better, the olive, dark blue or the red Aurora plastic!!! Location??? Eat a bowl of friskies, lay a map out on the floor, and throw a catnip ball and see where it lands....:jest: Ok...maybe not!!!

Pete McKay 11-26-2008, 10:30 PM Actually Joe Smokey is toilet trained. I'll have to catch him on the toilet but that's the first thing we did when we got him. White Cat has been toilet trained since I got him 12 years ago. We haven't mastered the flushing thing though..
ScottD961 11-26-2008, 11:24 PM Hey PEte, Didn't you know that you are his human, he is NOT your cat! Actually you are the can opener!
Pete McKay 11-26-2008, 11:58 PM Oh man, there's something else to film...the can opener...
ScottD961 11-27-2008, 12:00 AM Oh man, there's something else to film...the can opener...
Aw cmon now , He uses a can opener? Does he drive too? LOL
Pete McKay 11-27-2008, 01:29 AM No, I was talking about how they run when the can opener is used. It don't matter where they are, if they're asleep or whatever, once a day each morning when they're fed they come running to the can opener.
ScottD961 11-27-2008, 01:45 AM HA HA Yeah as soon as they here that little pop , they know what time it is
Bill Hall 11-27-2008, 01:59 AM Oh man, there's something else to film...the can opener...
Hahahahahaha! You betcha. The can dance.
A universal constant! :p
roadrner 11-27-2008, 08:18 AM Hey PEte, Didn't you know that you are his human, he is NOT your cat!
Scott,
That's a fact, my mother-inlaw is her cat's human. :freak: rr
rudykizuty 11-27-2008, 10:11 AM Actually Joe Smokey is toilet trained. I'll have to catch him on the toilet but that's the first thing we did when we got him. White Cat has been toilet trained since I got him 12 years ago.
LOL. Just when I was gonna say that the video of Smokey reminds me of our Tigger.........well, he's talkative at least. But definitely not toilet trained.
Can openers......I cannot decide on having a tuna sandwich without a fair amount of harrassment over it by both he and Cosmo. Tigger also gives me "the look" and chatters at me to give him one whenever you open a prescription bottle. He's yet to make the distinction between that sound and the container of kitty treats :p
ScottD961 11-27-2008, 03:19 PM Scott,
