Hi,

I have a question regarding a Topper Custom Eldorado. How much is a loose purple one with red interior and opening doors worth? It is in excellent condition. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Hello, Toppers don"t have a color guide for castings like Hot Wheels. And the only guide I know of list it Loose, Mint, No flaws. Standard finish, Opening doors, @ $150.00.... But Remember, this is just a price Guide! It could sell for a little more, or less. Just depends on how much a collector wants it. Hope this helps you out... Regards.....

yea, seems colors and interior colors don't make any difference in the Topper world, ...not like the Hot Wheels world...

still some of the Toppers can net something... here's a couple of burgandy ones with white interiors... note that one of these is even missing a wheel..

Don't you love it when sellers describe non-mirror Toppers as having a "mirror-like finish" in order to sucker in the uneducated? :rolleyes:

I already saw those auctions, but thanks for the info. Price guides are usually WAY out of line for prices; eBay is the most accurate source for value. However, I could not find a purple one on there.

James...... purple is one of the most common colors for Toppers. If it's really nice condition it might go as high as $100 but you never know. BP Toppers are selling at very high numbers right now on epay.

Many epay sellers are touting their Toppers as "mirror" when they are NOT!
Uneducated sellers or hoping for an uneducated buyer?
