OK, I just had to share this. If you are against buying bootleg copies of movies & TV shows, read no further.

Use the search window to look for the titles you desire. I found every single title I could think of! Including ABC "Movies of the Week"! Looking for "Search"? Its there! I haven't found a title yet that was not available.

Naturally, most of these will be DVDs made from old video tapes but if you are only paying a few dollars, you can't expect top quality. Most of the dealers use a 1-10 rating for viewing quality. Look for the dealers who list low quality copies as well as high, if they admit that certain titles are low on the scale then you can be fairly certain that any title they list as high quality will be so.

I'm just glad to have found a way to fill in the gaps in my collection and maybe some of the others here will feel the same way.

I have been looking for the earlier films of William Powell for a long time and this site has so many of them. True the quality may be a mixed bag, but at the price, I won't complain. My only other option is to wait and hope they will be officially released, but that can be years or never.

Another good site for memorable yet obscure movies is www.adifferentcity.com, although I haven't used them yet. All of their films are currently in Public Domain status. (They've been around for at least five years, so that's a good sign.)

I've made two purchases so far, from different dealers, and have been pleased with what I got. This site is just like eBay, each dealer is different so you go on a case by case basis but certainly there are no guarantees.
