43rdMuscle 11-22-2008, 09:58 AM Nice piece! What year is that, '71? I'm not a Ford guy, so don't laugh too hard. :D

Minichamps say it is a '71 - however, I'd bet, I would know less about it, than you:)
karl s 11-22-2008, 10:57 AM wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_Mach_1) also says it is a '71, plus has some pics of the real one...

Do you want one of the original 1972 run of 200,000 (maybe $200 mint boxed
from ebay), good loose ($30-$50) , or one of the late 1990s re-issues using the 1972 tooling (about $10 plus shipping). All 3 options will bring you joy if you liked the movie Diamonds are Forever as much as I do!
I am very lucky to have an original 1972 boxed one which is a joy to own and worth every penny I paid (oo7 sticker had fallen off the box so I got this for the price of a normal non oo7 green issue, truly a blessing!:) )

Only interesting in one from the original 1972 run, in original box.

All Corgi 391 boxes had the red desert coloured interior and were made exclusively for the 007 car but as the oo7 add on sticker has a tendancy to dry and fall off the box there are bargains to be had on ebay or at toyfairs for these boxes when the seller confuses the 391 with the standard green issue (all boxed as 329)
Excellent quality repro boxes are available if only good loose cars are affordable
Here´s mine :)

PWSchuh 11-24-2008, 10:12 AM Thanks for the insight. I will be careful when making my selection.
butchd 11-27-2008, 03:43 AM Here's my contribution, a Johnny Lightning. I remember driving one in a similiar color when I was a teenager. It belonged to a friend of my dad. This thing is like a tank.

roadrner 11-30-2008, 01:19 AM A friend of mine had one back in the day and that hood just went forever. However, the back seat was a joke. But we looked cool, at least we thought we did. ;) rr
69Stang 12-01-2008, 10:57 PM I was looking in the '08 Minichamps catalog just today at that car! All the bond cars look sharp!
