I never had the Gigantic Frankenstein kit as a kid, So, when I opened mine , yesterday, I noticed that the eyes are just holes. Was this a mistake, or is that the way it's supposed to be??:confused:

Thats the way the originals were made, the pupils were holes!

originally he was supposed to me motorized and i believe the eyes were going to light up too ( hence the holes ).
the story goes when they pitched it to the head guy he told them to take out the motor and they'd get the okay .

I think I might make mine's eyes light up. Do you guys leave the pupils as holes or do you fill them in?

I'm not too sure what I am going to do with mine yet. The lighting idea is perfect for one of these kits and I would love to see you do it, Jaeg.

He has plenty of room in his chest and I have a recorder module I might just wire him up to do a classic "Ugh ugh" noise from the movies. He has plenty of room in his head so I am going to sub assemble him first and remove his seams then I might get out my electronics collection and see what I can do. He is a lot bigger than I thought he was so he is going to take longer painting.

EDIT- You should do it to your rocker BF. That would look so cool.

My kit is already assembled making it hard to light without tearing it apart. I am anxious to see what you do with yours though. With so many different kinds of lighting and sound options (when scratchbuilding) I am sure there will be some really cool Big Frankys. Be sure and post it!

the holes in the pupils and the depressions for the irises make them just right for using 7mm teddy bear eyes for the iris/pupil. i know it sounds crazy, but it looks great and adds a lot of life.
