Anyone ever see Grindhouse (Death Proof) from Quentin Tarantino? It is one of my favorite movies.

"This car is 100% death proof. Only to get the benefit of it, honey, you REALLY need to be sitting in my seat".

This movie is gritty, dark and has some cool muscle cars in it. I have been pondering whether to cast the 1970 Chevelle Nova. I have all the mold materials ready to go but, i'm just not sure if there would be any interest for this car. To give it some power, i would mount a Tyco Wide Pan on it with black wheels and black (no letter) tires to keep it as close to the movie car as possible.

Let me know if there would be any interest.

The first pic is a Chevy Nova.

The second pic is a Chevy Chevelle.

Not the same car.

Auto World has done both already for Tjets but I don't recall anyone doing one for a Tyco chassis.

Good luck

I love Chevy Novas and the Movie Death Proof! Great Idea for a slot car build.

Why not just build it in 1/25 scale from the Revell 69 Nova....the differences are pretty minor to a 70. Its a lot easier to build 1/25 slot cars. I backed dated one into a 68 to do Bill Jenkins super stock car and used my old Parma Edge chassis.
