I did some testing and I am all set for music Friday night. We have a way for me to hook the iPod into the sound system and it sounds real good. So I will have around 1200 songs to pick from. Everything from country to metal, so we should be able to make just about everyone happy. On the down side, I am into classic rock and hard rock.....so most of the music will be of a "rock and roll" format, but I will make sure we try to cover a little of everything for you guys. That does mean a few choice selections from bands such as Pantera, Megadeth, and newer stuff like Hinder, Seether, etc.

IF ITS LOUD THAT WORKS FOR ME:freak::freak::woohoo::thumbsup:
You will be able to hear it, but I wont turn it up so loud it makes it hard to talk. To me that would take away from the fun.

Thanks to everyone that came out and helped out. What a great event. 45 entries, 5 heats of stock, 2 heats of mod. Pretty much all the pizza you could eat and pop you could drink. Trophies for every heat.

If you missed it this time, you won't want to miss it the next time we have one!!!!!

Special thanks to Fatal Impact members Revo, Lenman and Heffae for really taking the load off of me and just letting me pretty much be a racer for the evening.

Thanks again everyone!!!!!!

Great fun everyone. Very good racing in the top mains. If I'd run as good in Stock as I did in Mod. would have been in the A but such is life, but it was good battle in the B. Can't wait for the next Bash!

Thanks to everyone at BFG & R/C for an awesome event. The track was fantastic! I really had a lot of fun.The music realy added to the "feel" of the event. Everyone seemed very cool and was very helpful to me. Got home to Ann Arbor at 3:30 a.m. with my 2nd place trophy. I'll get you next time Moose! And I will be back for your next trophy race.

It was great to see so many new faces out for this event. I agree, the music helped keep the mood "lite". If this was the ROAR event that is coming up in two weeks, we could never get away with music going. But this was a very fun event and everyone seemed to have a good time. I was trying to keep off the mic as much as I could also, just say the things that needed to be said and thats it.

Free pizza (which tasted amazing), free soda, R/C racing, lots of people having fun, good music, sounds like a great time to me.

Congratulations to all the winners. I venture to bet that the A-Main classes ran times comparable with their Slash to a stock truck class on any race day. Those things were flying.

Yeah, there were a few 18 lap runs.

Guess it's good that they won't have a Slash class at the BFG Off-road Champs. Wouldn't want to have the lowly Slash be the most popular class

We will be putting another Slash Bash event on the schedule soon. Thinking we need to do this one more time indoors and then another couple times outdoors. Something like every 3 months or so.

In the mean time, everyone come out and join us for our regular race days on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. Hope to see you there!!!!!!
