Looks cool Bob. I saw them run a couple of years ago at Pete’s. Looked like a lot of fun.

So what are we going with for Rules? Box Stock? 1400 or 1600 Battery Limit?

Yep, now we need rules Mr. Brown...I'm in and I bet my crew chief is too.

Does not really matter to me it all for fun. This what they have been using at Allen's. Let me know what you guys think.

Also it's open to anyone so if you want to race let me know. we will probably run it Saturday Night after qualifying. Winner will get paid in singles. lol

Minimum Weight: 1LBS.10oz. (26 ounces / 737 grams)
Minimum Ride Height: 6mm (0.236in.)
Any mini-scale NiMH battery up to 1400 is allowed. No Li-Po.
Chassis / Suspension

Chassis and suspension pieces must remain stock (suspension arms, caster blocks, spindles, shock towers, steering components, etc.). No milling, cutting, or drilling extra holes in the chassis or suspension pieces to alter the original design or to reduce weight.

Shimming to fix slop or adjust suspension (suspension mounts & camber links) is allowed.

Fixing slop in the steering with shims or rubber bands (most common) are ok. However, aftermarket (delrin or aluminum) steering pieces are not allowed.

Aftermarket Shocks & Springs are allowed.

Any Mini-T Ball-differential allowed

Pinion changes allowed.


Electronics You may change out the radio and servo for your preference.

Stock ESC and Motor must be used (ESC Part #:LOSB0826 / Motor Part #:LOSB1216) Must use stock, unaltered brushes in motor (no serrating, slotting, cutting, or drilling holes). Motor springs must also be stock and unaltered.

Stock connectors for motor must be used.

Aftermarket connectors may be used for Battery to ESC connection. No hard wiring the battery to the ESC. Must use connectors.


Tires, Wheels & Inserts

Stock, out of box Tires, Wheels, and Inserts must be used (Fronts #:LOSB1169 / Rears #:LOSB1184).

Altering the existing vent holes in the wheels in any way is not permitted.
Drilling extra holes in the wheels is also not permitted.

Gluing and/or taping the tires to prevent traction rolling is allowed. Non Wintergreen based tire additive is allowed (but not recommended)

Altering (bending or cutting) of the front body supports (located on top of front shock tower) to lower the front of the body is not allowed. Supports must be run on the car in stock location.

Intentional flaring of front fenders or rear quarter panels not allowed.

I can live with that...
About the only thing other than that stuff we allow is moving tire compounds around to different corners and run something other than the plastic steering link. Both I can live without for a weekend.

It says 1/18th Scale Late Models. It says stock motors only so I doubt they would want a second class of 1/18th scale Mongoose/lipo cars. But, it never hurts to ask.
