A few pics of the prototype of something I have been working on.

These are 7-7/8"(200mm) Wide x 2-1/4"(59mm) Deep x 3/4"(18mm) Thick.

They are made from a very lightweight, dense and rugged foam that will work great on the front end of the car.

Lookin good. Hey Scott, I am going to make some custom
foam bumpers for my Dm1. Where can I get some foam like that
from? I need the blocks to be thick an around 12.5" X 6"
or somewhere near that size and I can't find anything local.

Ummm I am confused.

team·mate (tēm′māt′)

noun

a fellow member on a team

This would imply MULTIPLE members being present at the same time. I guess you could be considered "on the bench". :D

Pike Family Nursery has a gardening kneeling pad that works well. Will cut with X-Actos, but it will dull blades very quickly.

Note this it not the same pade that can be found at HD or Lowes...

Hey Scott my Yote weights just a tad above 44 oz full of fuel with body and wing. And thats the .09 Nitro.

44 oz?? Wow that is light. What is the weight difference in a .09 and a .12?

I think mine is right at 47 with a full fuel load ready to race. Had to add an ounce to make weight.

Darrell,
44 oz????? That's awesome. We were concerned about the weight of a Coyote for the .09 class. Guess we don't have to worry much any more. Good job.!!!

Well Scott being that I only have the .09 I have no clue the weight difference, unless I look it up somewhere online.....

Now guys remember thats version one I think, I dont have all the updates which could make it lighter.......

But yeah just double measured it last night could not believe it. Right on the money..

LIPO RX Pack, Now without tuning on it on the track so its obviously not distributed correctly, but here are the priliminary weights.

LF 10.007
RF 8.777
LR 16.520
RR 11.000

Total 46.3 oz

After running the engine a bit and adding fuel again, all the way to the top, so now there is fuel in the fuel lines as well....... Still not too heavy with .75 oz on the LR for extra...................... So with some spring adjustments things will level out a bit, but thats the current weight of the Yote with a .09 in her.

That is cool!

What GASCAR races are you going to be able to attend this year?

latemodel100

I "should" be able to attend most of them, I think. I am starting a new job soon going back active but staying stateside up here in Indiana, so that should yield me some more cash and hopefully some extra time off for extra travel days...........

As long as they stay one a month I can make that trip, should be pretty easy.

I am as well gonna be goofin around up here at the same track I did last season.
