A new offroad track will be open the first weekend in Dec. Nitro on Sat and electric on Sun. It's in the Hendrick co. fairgrounds. That is all I know.

Anymore info on this??? I work about 10 minutes from there and live about 20 minutes away. Are there going to be people there tomorrow?? Slash class??? If so what are the rules going to be? I'm going to need something to do this winter since my dirt oval is going to carpet. So after the Open Wheel I could see getting a Slash and running some offroad.

oh god, its a race track right??

 Adam I stopped by there today. It looks great and yes it is a track. The guy was getting ready to run his truggy around it. That is how big it is. I sent Corns a picture of it make sure you have him send it to ya. The owner said they are running nitro on Saturday's and Electric on Sunday's. Scoring system and sound system are both installed and working. I'm going to get a T4 and do some offroad this winter now that our dirtoval is shutting down. What do you guys normally run for motors? I would think that a stock type motor would be a bit slow. I know that the track is a lot more open then Planet was. Get my number from Corns and give me a call, I have questions and lots of them.

Dustin, will do. Most of the truck racing has always been stock, which is 13.5. Geared properly they are fast. For mod, 7.5 or 6.5 is plenty. Check out rctech.net on the electric forum is a good discusion for this place too. I'll get ya hooked up with what ya need.

WOW!!! I stopped in on Sat. to check it out and man is the track impressive the video does not do it justice. The average jump is as big as alot of tracks big jumps but still makeable. I will have to get something together to run there (probably my Slash).

Later,

Mark

This track is badass guys! Warm pits, food on site, and not far for other choices. Great traction and layout, one small change for electric and its awesome!!

Tires are clay switches, gold barcodes, pink tapers or bk's.

I cant remember what the results said for nitro but typical 1/8th buggy and truggy for sure. Not sure on anything else. They do race slash on sun. You can check out rctech.net in the electric forum for more answers, some of the guys involved post there.

Got a Question,
I see on the website that you guys run the Slash Class on saturday with the nitro.??? are you guys always going to run the slash group on saturdays?? if so I like this idea!!!,iam thinking about getting one and running with you guys.
If I would use regular batteries instead of lipos, what would be comparable MAh wise??
or if i do go with lipos what MAh are they running in the slashes?? i know its 2cell 7.4v,but what Mah
I do want one and come out and run it with you guys.
Thank Scott

aeRayls

They run slash on sat and sun. For lipo I believe the limit is 5400. If you get nimhs, the enerG 4600 are good.

slashes are cheep slayers arnt i think its just a cheep fun class to race, they ran them in between the truggys and buggys so the room had a little time to clear out.

Looks like another track to try. My offroad stuff has set so long, it probably won't run, more likely, I won't be able to drive it (LOL). I will be down to try it out. What are the Slash rules. I need to pick one up any way to build a 1/8th Scale Oval Late Model.

Skip my Slash question. I see a link on website for the rules. Thanks.
