Hello all!

Can anyone tell me and/or provide a link to some specific tester pens or paint markers that will show up nicely on track lanes yet ALSO come off with a specific cleaner if/when changing track layouts.

I am debating whether to go with pens or colored tape for my 4-lane HO track - as I am becoming increasingly confident that I like the look of full lane colors (both sides of slot). While I currently find the pen/marker application more appealing - I also know I will also be changing track layouts and if tape is the only non-permanent solution than I will have to consider it.

Help!

Tape will peel up eventually because it needs to stretch in corners.. Been there done that. Once a car starts catching the edge its all over.

Have you ever stripped paint off of plastic track before? I have-NOT fun.I prefer the tape method.:)

In walmart they have the marker pens by crayola I believe in the art supply /craft section I use those

you could always paint over the painted stripes
