I got mine today. Anyone else have one?

I was tempted to assemble the display, but I put it away.

Yes, build it! Display it! Enjoy it!! The payoff for all of the hard work that has gone into this endeavor is seeing you folks guiltlessly indulging in Monster Scenes again without hesitation over destroying the value that hangs over the properly revered vintage kits. This is the time to build, paint, and play again. Please, go for it. If you worry that, at a later date you might ponder "if I knew then what I know now" then go ahead and stick a few kits away for another time. But, for now, do your thing model makers!:thumbsup:

Just picked mine up at the Post Office and oh yeah I'm making mine up baby:thumbsup:...Man this looks so cool in person...the colors on the display are intense ...and when I got home from the Post Office in my mailbox was the Moebius Monster Scenes dealer Catalog...Great History in this catalog about those old biddies who stole our fun in 71...I guess in the long run ...we won!:thumbsup:

It makes the original Monster Scenses store display (from the 70's) look like, well, um... poop.

Hey Dencomm, I agree, open them! I received mine early this week and carefully opened the boxes. That was fun just looking at the paint jobs! The display is great. The whole thing together is something really different in my collection. Enjoy them.

Yes, I'd have to agree. While I have nothing but highest regard for the vintage original (of course), I believe we knocked out a superior display. In my many discussions with Jim Craig as we worked together to develop this, I indicated I wanted the feel of the original display but the artistic "pop" of the first Prehistoric Scenes display. I think we achieved the goal, and then some, but you folks will be the ultimate judges of our success.

Play, people, play!
