2008 Winter Points Series :thumbsup:

Well we’re off to a terrific start to the season for Oval Racing in Toledo! Oval racing is every other Saturday starting Nov. 1st, 2008. Track opens at 9am with racing starting between noon and 1pm. Three heats and Mains. 3 to a Class.

There were 10 entries of the Losi Mini Slider in the stock class. Two Losi Late Models also showed up and we ran them all together with the Sliders. I hope we get a few more out for the next race in the late model class. And 4 brave soul’s came out for 12th Scale Oval. Points are below:

Wow! Just wanted to say "thanks" to all the guys that came out and raced the Oval on Saturday. We had 38 entries running in 5 classes. That's wicked awsome!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

You guys also drew quite a crowd of spectators from the mall who were interested in what we do there. That's wicked awsome too!!! :woohoo:

Next race is scheduled for Saturday Feb. 7th so I hope you guys plan to bring a friend to race and see how many guys we can get out to the track!

Thanks to Bud Bartos and the gang coming from the Cleveland area to race with us. That BRP car on 3 cell li-po was fast!

We had 3 of us from Gibsonburg come run the late models and sliders. We brought some other firends along, who are now interested in getting late models so we may have more the next time! Big thanks to Tony Reino and Steve Culbert for all the help. We all had a blast!

What are people running for gearing on the late models? I have a stock motor.

From what I'm selling most people are running 58 to 60 tooth spurs and 17 to 22 teeth pinions.
