i am assuming this is a 29 gallon tall tank in which case it would not work for a saltwater aquarium. dimensions would be a big plus here

Well...your assumptions are all WRONG! It is a 28 gal. tank...thats why the title says "28 gal." And yes its a tall tank. Why can it not be SW tank? All you would have to do is get a better lighting system...such as a compact fluorescent 50/50,T-5 or HQI system.

And to answer your question...dimensions are 24Wx18Hx16D:)

tall tanks have a smaller surface area and in saltwater a larger surface area is preferred ;). some do like tall (or show tank if you prefer), however those people are looking for 150 gallon plus size tanks.
