View Full Version : bsr or jaco Dave sk 11-10-2008, 03:39 PM what co is better and what is the diff between jaco rear white and bsr Echeconnee 11-10-2008, 04:04 PM If I had to pick between the 2, I would say BSR. Most say that BSR white and Jaco are the same thing. I don't know for sure, gave up Jaco long ago. Mullins21 11-10-2008, 04:07 PM Bsr Pearl White Is The Same As Jaco White BRhodes 11-10-2008, 04:10 PM I never had any luck with Jaco whites staying consistent through a 4 minute race. PanMan 11-10-2008, 05:12 PM Go with BSR. Better foam - MUCH better wheels. My $.02 P.S. - You might want to move this thread to the "General Discussion" or "Product Support" areas. This area is for track discussions. Just trying to help. casper60 11-10-2008, 05:19 PM When I left Rc 8 years ago, you would have never seen anything but Jaco on my cars. When I came back, I went back with Jaco and soon found out they just weren't very good for me. After 5 sets, every wheel I tried wasn't true, and the car was very inconsistant. I switched to BSR's and added 2 laps to my best run ever up to that point. That is all I have run since. pancartom 11-10-2008, 06:12 PM BSR.... done TBRC1 11-10-2008, 09:17 PM Is there anything out there besides BSR ?????????????? I prefer BSR but have olded "other" tires I'm burning off before really getting into my BSR's. youngin11 11-10-2008, 11:49 PM i would say bsr is much better just for the sole purpose of the wheel but tm tires are also really good JH Racing 11-11-2008, 08:15 AM I would run BSR because the tires are great and you have a wide variety. J-Dub Racing 11-11-2008, 01:38 PM I switched back to Jaco's again this season. Can't really say that I have had any problems with them. Plus I get them really cheap at www.discountrctires.com boomer21 11-11-2008, 04:24 PM jacos have a smaller rim so u get more foam out of it but there both great tire companys REVALATION 11-11-2008, 06:15 PM i race what i get for free JDW 11-11-2008, 06:27 PM Try Windtunnel same foam smaller rim and you can buy 1 tire at a time or any combo of 4 ft or rear .I run them down in to the 1.97s with grip no problem. BSR is a good foam and Windtunnel is every bit as good. bsr peral white = Wt white bsr white = wt 2 white black = black silver = silver WT are allso a bit skinner on the car. I like them better but that is just me. Jake Jesse Bean 11-11-2008, 10:38 PM bigger rims are faster..... JDW 11-11-2008, 11:07 PM Ware out faster anyway.LOL Jake davz 11-12-2008, 08:00 AM BSR Here's why: The rims are awesome. The rubber is top notch The compound selection is just right. Also John Foister really has put a lot of effort to make the tires better. John is an avid oval racer and knows exactly what we want with these tires from his own first hand experience. He has made the tires 3000% better than they uysed to be and way above any other brand. He really does a lot for the hobbly like sponsor the BRL, etc., etc. I like to support the businesses who really care about the hobby and do whatever they can to make it better. Thanks John for making us some badazz tires! Echeconnee 11-12-2008, 08:08 AM Ding Ding Ding, We have a winner!BSR Here's why: The rims are awesome. Can't really say that I have had any problems with them. Plus I get them really cheap at www.discountrctires.com I switched back to Jaco's also, not any faster, not any slower and havn't broken a wheel yet (I hit a lot of stuff). Getting them cheap makes a difference on my tire budget. Can't beat the Jaco prices at Discount RC Tires. BSR's are nice because of the different coumpound combos available. davepull 11-12-2008, 08:58 PM little info for you guys Jaco sells there foam to BSR. BSR sells foam to Murdock. JDW 11-12-2008, 09:26 PM little info for you guys Jaco sells there foam to BSR. BSR sells foam to Murdock.
