I have purchased a few year old Custom Works Intimidator and can not get this car to perform...The car is like its on ice...Im not talking a little loose here,im talking like if you ease on the throttle just rolling the car will spin out..I am unsure of shock oil weights or anything,as Its used...The tires are brand new custom works Qualifier tires...The surface I will be racing on is hard pack dirt oval...I first tried the car by taking the car on the street out front to set up the steering alignment and it spun out just easing into it..I took the car to the track and same thing...
I dont know what to do or where to start...I am new to dirt oval and have run carpet oval in the past,so I dont know where to start..
Can anyone,I meen anyone give me any set-up help here? I would like every detail as far as set up go's..

thanks in advance!

I suggest you take the motor pinion off of it and spin the rear tires with your hands. They should turn free and easy ... you shouldn't feel any resistance. Seems like you either have a rear wheel scrub or something like that.

Yep,checked it and I spun the rear wheels, and the front wheels together and both spun almost just as easy...Nice and free.

is it the direct drive or the tranny? if its the tranny, its possible that the slipper or diff is to tight and if its the d.d the diff i think is to tight, it could also be that there is to much motor, over powering the car will make it do that also. ive learned from experience

if its the tranny - tighten the diff screw till its tght but not too tight losten 1/4 turn - try that - also can try a spacer on the l/r tire customworks makes 2 sizes try the bigger one - 40 wt oil in the r/r number 2 piston - 30 wt in the other 3 - i uses 8 pound outlaw spring all the way around and got my car to fly using that setup - track is 170 foot run line hard packed clay but during the day it was loose like ice
is it being run in the mid motor or rear motor - try mid motor its the best for the setup i gave
