I hadn't even heard anything about this till I found it in a store tonight, it's the first non-Rhino Mystery Science Theater 3000 from the "Shout!Factory".

At first glance it looks like a good selection of episodes, and finally a few extras! It was a lot cheaper than the ol' Rhino sets too! I guess we'll get Tom in the next release.

I'm still waiting for "Warrior of the Lost World."

Jimmy Carter was great in that.
"Feel some malaise, sucker!" He said, firing his machine gun.

All four episodes are really good ones imho, I liked the "History of MST3K" segments, and the Crow figure is pretty nice for a promo giveaway, though I would have preferred Tom. All in all, I think Rhino losing the franchise was a good step for MST3K fans.

Minor quibble, it's tough to get all the stuff packed into the tin out, make sure you snip the wire holding Crow in place before you attempt to remove him.

The next Cinematic Titanic should be interesting. It's a redo (for some of the cast) of Santa Clause Conquers the Martians, an old MST3K episode.
