The Series Points were updated today (Finally) and there are some interesting and exciting developments...

There was a scoring error in the 21.5 class.

This error gave Points Leader BRYAN MYERS 3 extra points, as his points of record for race 6 in Lindsay were actually those of Bryan Blaser.

With this error corrected, and the points calculated from the Encino Velodrome race...Bryan now holds a SINGLE POINT lead over VELO Winner John Miles. Buck VanPatten who came into the Velodrome TIED with MILES for 2nd place, still holds onto 3rd place just 7 points out of the lead.

In another exciting development, it was noticed that there was a CHANGE at the TOP in the 17.5/LIPO class as Gary Hamilton over took Larry Ruby after Ruby had a less than great finish, while Hamilton took 2nd place on the high banked bicycle track.

HAMILTON will also enjoy just a SINGLE Point lead when the flag drops at Lindsay on the 15th.

What looked like the closest battle of the year, the NASTRUCK Class went into the VELO as a ONE point race between John Miles and 07 Champion Brad Muther. Muther started the day just one point up on Miles, but with John taking the TQ point the main event started with both drivers TIED for the top spot.

Muther went on to WIN the truck main on the VELO while Miles would have to settle for a 4th place finish (after the 2nd place truck of Bryan Myers was DQ'd for tracking width issues)

This virtually LOCKS UP the NASTRUCK Championship as John Miles can only TIE Muther if he TQ's and WINS the last race. A tie would still give MUTHER the Championship based on BEST Throw Out scores.

So BRAD MUTHER will win his 2nd NASTRUCK Championship.
