If Hank wants to delete this I will understand. BUT this thread is to tell you and yours..VOTE on November 4th, 2008

While R/c cars may be our 1st interest (racing or retired) our country should be our #1 interest.

I am not posting this to endorse any canidate, I am only posting this for you to take the TIME AND GO VOTE!! (even if your company doesn't pay you) This may be one of the most important decisions you may ever make..win or lose, the important issue is that you had a say in where our country is going.

Other than the above..GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!!!:woohoo::wave:

As long as it stays non-political it can stay. IMHO, it's a public service announcement.

yea it is, only thing I gotta figure out now is whether I want to continue paying taxes after they are raised again or switch sides and just recieve them for doing nothing. I have never recieved an earned income credit but I hear it's pretty cool to get something for nothing.

Yes Hank, close it down. It a shame that something as important as voting has to turn the wrong way. Some of us lost and some won, but we still have one thing in common. We live in the best Country in the World!!

Kudo's to those that got off their dead butts and voted! That is the important issue!! Now we move on..for better or for worse! :)

I did not vote for the President Elect. & I don't agree with many of his or the Dem. party on virtually anything.

However, HOW many Americans would be able to say they were truely "HAPPY" if McCain had won?

As President I expect the President Elect to follow a lot of Party Lines on many issues, that's what DEMS and REPS do. However, there are things he'll do that will be looked at differently than if anyone else were to be in that office.

There are many issues that will probably arise that are race based issues, but as a white man I can not imagine how excited a large segment of black americans are right now. Maybe the choice of this man as President will close some of the gap in racial issues...and let AMERICANS be AMERICANS...time will only tell.

We will never all be "Americans", until we stop having to
prefix the word with another...
African American..
Chinese American..
Native American..

I've never understood if a person was born here,
why he wasn't just an American?
How many generations, born here, have to pass..
before you consider yourself to be American?

Great, Just remind me that I have to share the "White" category with them Pollocks and Ruskies.... Can't a Dutch guy get a break on s survey? Maybe those marketers should come up with "Off-White"

I'm all for dropping the prefix dan. Call me American, I think 15 generations of Fitzwaters in the U.S. should be enough to earn that badge.

No I don't hate Polish or Russians, I am sure I have a little of each to go with my German, Dutch and English Blood.
