This weekend is the Pre-Race for the Smith Media Production Series with the running of the Smith Media Productions TQ Dash for the Smitty's Lawn Care SPEC Car Series. Locked into the dash already are Jason Nick, Al Smith Sr. Justin Smith, and Marc Lapan. Also be two additional racers that will be drawn from a hat to be thrown into the dash. :thumbsup:

The series is set to begin November 22nd for all three divisions. Also all trophys are in and the banner is going to be hung up this weekend. The banner will serve as the official victory lane for the series.

The Series is guaranteeing the champion of each division at least $100. Part of the we will have 50/50's starting this weekend to help out the purse. For more up to date and latest information on the series it is on the web at www.slcscs.com or you can get to the link by going to www.shoprch.com

We will be running the dash at the end of the night will be three minute dash.

The track will be open the Friday before the race from 10-8.

Was in Florida last week, I know hard to believe I would leave this weather for sunny and 80. I will probably be there this Saturday but Keith is working. He works most Saturdays and only gets up there occasionally.

Hey Jason,

I don't want to start trouble about you running the spec dash but to be fair to all, I think you have to start at your bench with the tires off the car and your four fingers on both hands taped straight together and the only tool you get to use to put the tires on is a 8" Rigid pipe wrench! Now thats a dash! :thumbsup:

Both Smiths will be there for SPEC cant wait to see all the action. The Smith Media Production Series website has been updated and photos added. Thanks Razoo for the help with that department. This will be the last week for tune up because all three series start November 22nd. I cant wait and I hope everyone else agrees. I was very glad to see the 50/50 work Saturday night. If we all keep it up we will be able to pay back more and have more prizes to give out at the end of the season. :woohoo:
