View Full Version : 1969 was a good year for Mustangs
STUTZ 11-03-2008, 02:46 PM I'm just having fun with my camera.
I found this GL 1969 Boss 429 Mustang in my display unit that doesn't look too bad with the car advertisement.

tamiyatim 11-05-2008, 02:18 PM Where did you get the 1/64 scale chick from??
STUTZ 11-05-2008, 04:46 PM The figure is Felicity Shagwell from the Johnny Lightning Austin Powers diorama. Austin Powers and Dr. Evil figures are in the diorama with Austin Powers Jag and Felicity's Corvette.
GT350H 11-07-2008, 04:16 AM '65-73 were good years: '65 GT350, '66 GT350H, '67 GT500, '68 GT 390, '69 Mach 1, '70 Boss 302, '71 Boss 350, '72 Mach 1, '73 Mach 1. Now if only I could own them all!:woohoo:
craftymore 11-07-2008, 10:07 PM GL has their A game on for Mustangs. Thanks for the pics Stutz.
robertwadehall 11-08-2008, 11:05 AM GL did a good job with their '69s..wish they had included the quarter window, though. Looks wierd without it. (the quarter window on the '69-70 Sportsroofs doesn't roll down, it flips out).
'69 is my favorite year of the early Mustangs, my Dad bought one new that he passed down to me, it's a white Sportsroof w/ 351W 4bbl, automatic, have it stored w/ my '87 Mustang GT. We restored it in the '80s as a father-son project.

You are a very lucky man! Two sweet 'Stangs!
boss302mstng 11-22-2008, 07:14 PM Sold My 69mach1 and kawasaki650 when I got married 25 years ago because they were getting me in too much trouble (tickets) A few years ago I asked the wife if I could buy another 69 mach 1 and when she seen what price range they were in she asked if I was going to sleep in it?? So I guess I better just keep my 2003 f150 4 door at least if I need to sleep in that it would be a little more comfy.
