Here is one you just don't see every day. I picked the white one up off of ebay many moons ago. I occasionally did a search looking for one in better condition and then I ran across the red one. This is based off of an actual drag car from the 70s and I have a magazine article on it. I'll have to take a picture of that. It was made by Politoys. It is 1/43rd scale or thereabouts. Hmmm, I wonder if the real one was ever driven on the street? It has a license plate. I'm guessing it was released around 1972 by the looks of the plate.

Politoys went to a lot of trouble getting scale and details correct,so I believe that this fine toy is spot on 1/43,and european collectors particularly Italians pay anywhere from $40 to $200 for a near mint loose car with rubber tyres depending on casting and colour. Judging from the wheels this is from the time that they converted their range to speedwheels ,1972 would be right
