As far as whats wrong - - - The fender is primered except for the front section ( like there is a body line there .. there is in the casting , but not the real car ) ... & the 2 tone or vinyl top extends into the front cowl ....

Yup, like there's a cast fender extension like on a later model car - but there isn't on a '64!

Probably just part of the fender is primered.
