I just bought a sidewinder speed control and im using in with a brushed motor its a 19 turn reedy with 3 power caps on it and im using the spektrum dx3r radio with a SH3000 receiver and my problem is when i put the throttle travel to 150% on the radio and i reset the speed control for that and even with all of that in it when i hit the throttle it glitches and its only the throttle channel only not the steering. can anybody help????

I would wonder whether the throttle travel of 150% on your radio would cause a problem. Have you tried it with the travel set to 100% both forward and reverse? Why did you decide to set it to 150%?

because 150 is max throttle position on my radio like 125 is on jr radios. and i have tried moving it down to 125% and it works there but i need 150 for oval racing.

The speed control won't make the motor go faster by having the radio set to 150% endpoint than if it is set to 100% endpoint so long as you pull the trigger all the way in both directions when calibrating the ESC to the radio. (That is, unless the radio is broken in some way.)

So why do you need it at 150%? Maybe you should try recalibrating with the endpoints set to 100% in both directions.

i tried what you said ta_man and it still doesnt work but with all of the same radio settings it works with my novak speed control.

I have no other suggestions except that you call Castle tech support and talk to them about it.
