This was one of my favourite childhood SF, I bought 3 for my small 12 bus fleet when I was 9-10 years old.
When I finally saw the real deal , built in Germany and sold over continental europe, they were full size coach 8 feet wide bodies but midibus c20 foot length. This is the only casting that I can recall where the width has been significantly reduced in ratio to the length, and Tin Toys of Hong Kong copied this casting and made lots in the 1970s, commonly found in white with blue tampos or metallic green with yellow window surrounds

Is the red on e the first variation followed by the gold one in the upper left?

No.
The gold was carried over from the 12a Land Rover safari, then the colour changed to yellow, then the windows went green and finally the metallic wine coloured issue finished the life of the casting. As its easy to swap windows over, there is no proof that clear windows magenta castings were ever made but somebody has shown green windowed yellow castings in blisterpacks so they did really get to the stores......
