Hey Guys!

I would have to say that it was a real pleasure getting to meet many of you off the board in person finally at the Richfield show.

Always nice to put a name with a face and to BS a bit about the hobby itself that we all love.

As far as the Richfield show goes I didn't purchase much and it was quite a bit smaller than the Spring show which was a bit disappointing.

I really do look forward to this show in the spring and fall and I hope what dealers were there it was worth their while in regards to their sales to bring them back again.

It seems the economy is taking its toll on the public with not as many people as at previous shows.

Anyhow just wanted to say hey and it was a pleasure meeting a lot of you off the board in person!

Wayne :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Richfeield show was nice. It was cool to see some of the people I've only read about on the internet. I also ran into some of the guys I race with. If your a collector this is a great show to go to. But if your into racing there wasn't that much for you. That was the one thing that disappointed me. I had never been there before and was expecting to be able to buy parts and tools.

I too am a racer not really a collector. But I enjoy seeing all that vintage stuff. I'm not good with names, but it is fun BS-ing with the other slotcar guys. At this show I usually like to stock up on Pop's silicone/sponge tires. His tires are super fast and he is a great guy as well. Me and my two buddies each picked up Tyco Magnum 440 XL Lamborghinis. They were cheap and it gave us another class to run when we got home after the show. We usually run super g+ with the indy body style, so it was fun to slide those heftier Magnums around for a while. :thumbsup:
