I've got a soft spot for Trax models of Aussie cars - one of my favourite models is their EJ Holden. Anyway, last year they started their Opal series in 1:43 with opening parts.

This is the latest, the 1972 Ford XA Falcon GT Sedan in Wild Violet. I must admit, I think it is their best yet - the panel gaps are very tight which is commendableas all four doors open - excellent.

Very nice model. I'm not that fond of the color, but it seems extremely well executed.

Just received my Trax 'Opal' Falcons . They are great !! I love the Ultra Violet color !! The red one is neat too .... I also got a 63 Falcon Squire in gray .
Trax goofed my order & sent me 2 of each car , & double charged my credit card also .. I dont know if I should send them back or try to sell them ...

If you didn't order them you don't have to pay for them. Call your credit card company and dispute the charges. (As long as you have a copy of your order that shows you only ordered one of each.)

Excellent looking down under Ford. Wish someone would do some of these in small scale. Hard to believe that all 4 doors open. Detail looks outstanding. Thanks for the pics.

I ordered both colours because I just could not make a choice between them!

It is a great model and I hope that Trax bring out more models that feature opening four-doors.

I have copies of my order , but I buy regularily from Trax . If I refuse to pay for them , would they give me trouble in the future . They said they would credit my account & shipping for the cars if I return them ...
