What exactly is a Lipo rated tire? swtour 10-22-2008, 10:45 PM I don't know if John is still making these or not, but he did a VELO tire...designed for the FASTEST of the FAST class on the big track, that was called a LIPO tire. He sent a set to us as a give-a-way prize last year for our ALLSTAR SHOOTOUT race won by Eric Brust. No clue what the diff. is between these and a standard SILVER or ORANGE EHW. Monti There using extra high temp glue so the tire doesn't build to much heat and seperate from the rim. I remember the magazine explaining that they used BSR's but you may be right.. they may have mentioned that bsr made tires specifically for the speed run.
