They have inmates that do that.....:)
I was at Rc Hover today, they are planning on off road carpet on wed. nights,on road for thurs. nights oval on sat. afternoon and onroad for sunday afternoon. He said if there is enough interest in oval he will ad another night of oval racing. He is also going to install a rock crawling coarse and wants to have races or comps on that. The wood is there for the drivers stand , they will be putting the carpet down I think he said this weekend and then racing next weekend if all goes well.
I was reading the other threads about scheduling, and I see that weekends does not work for alot of people.Matbe we should ask him to race oval on friday nights instead.I only get on saturday off per month
bud3738 10-29-2008, 09:20 PM thats what we were thinking...Oval Friday Nights......
I like the saturday for oval myself Friday nights can be hard to make
bud3738 10-29-2008, 09:49 PM the thing with saturday was early after noon......
How about Sat. nights If you can go to rchover.com and go to the menu and click rch raceway, under there there is a forum on this track, maybe everyone can make suggestion on what night they would like to race oval.I think Fri or Sat nights would be good or sun afternoon.
Belfiore1 10-29-2008, 11:16 PM Saturday's would work for racers who have a long drive!
SteveHanson 10-29-2008, 11:34 PM I'd be going on a somewhat normal basis if it was on Saturday's...... Hi Justin
DRAmvr94 10-30-2008, 04:17 PM i don't know i like the friday idea i jus wish we could get thursday nights. thurdays were perfect for me.
bud3738 10-30-2008, 04:50 PM whatever we decide I think it should be nights...some guys work sat. afternoons...
Jeremy posted today that racing oval will be sat. at noon doors open at 10am.If there is enough interest down the road they may have a second night of oval racing on tues. nights.
starting at noon will be hard for some guys. some work on sat. till noon for over time later in the day would be a lot better
ScudMissile 10-31-2008, 10:51 AM ill be there saturdays
j61396 10-31-2008, 10:53 AM i don't know i like the friday idea i jus wish we could get thursday nights. thurdays were perfect for me.
I agree completely.. Thursday is the perfect night for me.
Ken Perry 10-31-2008, 01:07 PM Friday nights work better
ScudMissile 10-31-2008, 02:09 PM saturday afternoons will attract more people
dancingd 10-31-2008, 03:37 PM saturday afternoons will attract more people
I know I don't race much down that area, but I think Fridays will be tough for us guys up North....
What about Wednesday mornings..... http://planetsmilies.net/shocked-smiley-9490.gif (http://planetsmilies.net)
Ive been out of racing for about 15 years and will be racing oval at RC Hover. What kind of oval cars do you guys run.I have a Hyperdrive H10RS and a Woods pancar that I will start with. Are you running brushless or brushed?4 cell or 6 cell or lipo?
bud3738 11-01-2008, 07:40 AM I think alot is still up in the air....Most of us are running the newer hyperdrives...( Pro 3/ 2)....Some running KSG's....I think some were running also L4's....Most have brushless however at our old track we started a Truck class with 27T motors and they were alot of fun......Lots of us also have S/K's.......I'll run whatever.......
with the guys from radical ricks coming there most will have either cars for the truck class and the rest of the guys will be running 4 cell 17.5 brushles. Lipo in the northeast probably wont take off until next year, when it settles down. mike
jmccormick 11-01-2008, 11:55 AM trying to push lipo now will IMO hurt attendance. I know of a local track here in maine that has all but pushed away 17.5 4 cell guys from there weekly racing because they have a couple of 21.5 lipo guys that ran with the 17.5's at first and drove away the 17.5 guys me includeded I usualy race there a few times as this is NOT my home track but because of the lipo push I dont see me running there anytime soon.
bud3738 11-01-2008, 12:38 PM lets all be happy we have a place to race and support this track!
I agree lets all support the track.
I have a brushless 4.5 and 6 cell batteries.Should I bring this to the first race or should I buy 17.5 and make 4 cell packs?
bud3738 11-01-2008, 10:59 PM 17.5 and 4 cell.....you wont be able to drive that combination you mentioned....oval is different....
DRAmvr94 11-02-2008, 01:07 PM yea wednesday mornings the i don't have to go to school yay
bud3738 11-03-2008, 08:17 PM we may be racing this Sat?.....I gotta check with Jerry...If so who's in?
Rick you will have to let me know how the track is I will be in charlotte N.C. to watch the real mods this weekend My son and I will be there the following weekend I will get Bob C. to go also.......Jim
I can race this weekend.Havent raced in many years, but I can race
REBELL 11-04-2008, 12:10 PM When you have the scope let us know the time, i am in for 17.5 4cell!:thumbsup
hitman21 11-04-2008, 01:59 PM If Jim, His Son And Bob C go Ill get my truck together and go race!!!
