New forum member here. I raced some at Radical Rick's, then I got into offroad nitro about 6 years ago and have been mostly focused on the outdoor stuff. Did some carpet racing at Big Boys Toys, when they were open.

I'm gonna stop up and check out your new carpet track. Please post info on the various carpet classes that you'll be running. Also, I sincerely hope you have a spec class or two. Some guys may groan, but the spec classes are nice. Spec classes keep it simple and allow you to focus on driving skills and having fun, rather than trying to outspend the next guy all the time.

Just got off the phone with Jerry.....1st race is this Saturday...11/8/08...doors open at 10:00AM...Racing starting at 12 Noon............I believe he said entry fee is $15.00.........
They are still working on tables and chairs and ask if you have one to bring it.........Again this is the 1st race so it may be a few weeks till things get together.......

Rick do they know what they are going to run, I hope they run the truck with 27t

I believe they will run anything as long as thier is enough to make a heat.......He did mention if people were running lipo's they must charge them in an approved Lipo sack....

if i go this week its goin to be a mad dash for me to get up there but we will see

Were can you take old rc car batteries to be recycled?

anyone with a turbo 35 can recycle........How old are the batteries...?.....if you have some discharge bulbs you can charge them with your charger and then dump them yourself...do it 3-4 times and they should start to come around.....

im almost positive you can bring them to any lowes, home depot store, they should have bins for that kind of stuff, atleast I know they use to because people would bring there dead drill packs in.

Hey guys....Just got back from taking some laps at the new track.......This track is FAST! A few guys stopped by and checked it out...I think everyone will be happy.....
The management stated they would run the racing on Saturdays 1st heat starting at 6PM he also mentioned tuesday nights which I think would be a great S/K night.....S/K's were ALOT on fun on the new track......However the pan car was also flying....
Tueday nights I believe the 1st heat would go out at 7:OOpm...Lets seeif we can get a bunch of S/Ks to get together this Tueday...Who's In?

When you are calculating roll out do you measure the tire in inches or mm?

checked the track out today as well, and it looks like it is going to be a fun little track. hopefully be up there in a couple of weeks after the neot race next week.

i was up there saw a few of the guys saw rick, joe, mike s, and mike m and it is a cool track lookin forward to racing with the guys from our old radical ricks days and maybe some new guys too but when everyone starts to catch on its going to be a great time. and yea bud when are you coming back racing.

Good to see some Radical Ricks guys there sat. Cant wait to rub fenders with you again. Very nice track and it looks fast. Ricks car was flying around the track. Hopefully alot of ppl get there and race cuz its gonna be a good time racing there

Hey guys, Rus here from RCH. I just wanted to thank whom ever started this thread and getting the word out on the track.

I want to thank Rick for stopping in Saturday for some great information and running his cars and to Mike McD for that matter....

I will do everything in my power to make this a great facility for racing.

Ian I can bring my truck Iam going to call Bob to see if he can go tomorrow night I can have him bring his truck to but I think they want to run mods.

Is the radical one going with "chubs"?......

Me and sisson will be running mods......Ill have my truck but may only do the mod thing...we'll see.....Sure everyone will like the track...Bring a chair! should be there around 5PM

just pulled all the stuff out of my closet going to work on it and cycle the batterys and then we might be able to race saturday with the truck

track was FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3.1 second lap times with my S/K...track is nice and smooth....dont miss out on a real nice place

2 modifieds.....there were some other guys fooling around with other cars....

its a fun fast!....not the 'Dont blink and hold on type....You feel you have room to race someone side by side around the track!

The KSKT boys will get together and check out the new track when all these travel races calm down. 3.1 lap times sound like our local track that just closed. It was fun...
