carissa 10-25-2008, 09:43 PM Nice to see Romano and Ken make the trip up this saturday. Racing was fun. Howard got to bump to the a main. Romano's dirt oval looked pretty dialed. He ran some practice laps after racing was finished for the night. Still need to generate some more oval racers.

That's why you're the Team Captain
Madball 11-04-2008, 05:10 PM That's why you're the Team Captain
You must have the wrong guy. The last ship I was the Captain of was called the Titanic, and as you can see if you can't miss it, drive thru it.
AH screw it. From now on just call me Captain Jack.
omnis85 11-04-2008, 06:15 PM AH screw it. From now on just call me Captain Jack A--.
i agree......
omnis85 11-04-2008, 06:19 PM oh and im just joking although your hair on sat looked a little more puffy and frizzy than normal.....long day? lol
dalejr828 11-04-2008, 09:52 PM what are u running for motors and batt. in the EDM there a few of us up in new york that wouldn't mind playing on the carpet a lil. we been racing them on carpet for years and always close racing. we actually had our trucks, pretty much all T4s running just a few tenths off our edm. we just got rid of our carpet track for a indoor high banked dirt oval,
-Kyle
Dirtydrc 11-04-2008, 10:04 PM Some of us ran 2cell Lipo & 17.5. Others ran 6-cell stock. 17.5 was faster.
darrel 11-04-2008, 10:36 PM Speaking of lipo I just turned the GBX into the mid motor. I need the dimentions for the lipo pack L-W-H so I can make a small slot for the tape to hold it in.
Good shots of my car, thanks Dale.

SMC 4000 Pack is 1 7/8' x 5 3/8' x 3/4'
Darrel if you eleminate the plastic tray. You can still use the original straps. You just might have to add some rubber/servo tape so Batt. does'nt slide Lf to rt.
RCRacer00 11-06-2008, 07:11 PM Bump for madness. Who's gonna make it a double header this weekend. Sat Night at the madness short track and Sunday afternoon at Staffords banked beast of the Northeast? wherever you end up, Just make sure you bring a bundle of FUN!
carissa 11-07-2008, 10:24 PM See you guys tomorrow night......dont forget your EDMs! I love watching that class! 6 cell racing is so much better than four cell!

NHRCRACER 11-13-2008, 02:50 PM What are the rules for SK? Last time I raced there it was unmatched stick packs, stock motors with a spec brush and no T-plate cars. I imagine that's changed.
darrel 11-13-2008, 04:00 PM Its all changed. If you run brushed you can run matched 4600's. Its still stock motor but most are running 17.5 brushless with the 4600's. If u have strong brushed motors you can still be competitive, and or win others have done so. t-plate cars also run, kskt is a t-plate car and the DRC car is a mono ball. I was there 2 weeks ago and an orignial skateboard won. So even though things have changed the place is still competitive for all.

This track uses SKOR rules as a guideline. Below are the basics to get you going.
1. Chassis - Any SKOR approved production soild or T-Plate.
(KSKT, RSE, BEEFY, DRC)
2. Motors - 27 Turn Brushed or 17.5 Brushless (Novak Only)
3. Batteries - 4 cell 4600's max.
4. Weight - 2.30 LB
5. Roar approved electronic speed controls

I didnt know roar was approving ESC's? If roar approval electronics is going to be brought into the picture than any 17.5 motor that is roar approved should be able to run BUT!!!!! it is entirely up to the track owner to decide, I dont know what rcmadness rules are on electronics. Carissa can you fill us in on that please.. I know there was a racer that used a different motor than everyone else... No im not calling you out meatball but you KNOW someone will say something sooner or later might aswell ask before the trophy race comes up and we all ask at the last minute.
fastforward 11-13-2008, 06:06 PM I just talked to chris on the phone and he said for brushless motors it will be novak only. He's only following the same rules as maximus and turn 4 to keep things the same from track to track.the trophy race will be this way also.
