I have a Losi xxx-t that I'm building up to race I currently have a novak 4.5 brushless system in it. Seems like a little too much power to work effectively on the track. What would be a good choice to go with a lipo battery?

Also what kind of run time could expect out of a 3200 lipo back and what is a good lipo charger that won't break the bank as i'm on a budget? I was looking at the fma cell pro 4amp. Would that work? How long would it take to charge a 3200? 5000?

Sorry for so many questions in one post.

thanks in advance for any help,

John

IMHO Yes a 4.5 will be to much but sense you have it I would put the smallest pinion and biggest spur gear that you can on it.
A 3200 lipo is to small, you can only charge it at 3.2amp's and will take a long time to charge back up. You should use a 5000 or better yet a 6000 lipo. With a big lipo you can practice for a 1/2 hour or more and not take your lipo down to low as thats what kills lipos.
The Hyperion EOS606i is $95 and one of the best you can get for a low cost, it has a built in balancer and PC upgradeable soft wear but you need a power supply for it.
Do you have or can you get a power supply 8amp or more ????? If not there are others that are OK in the $100 range.
