bud3738 10-16-2008, 02:22 PM There is a new flat track opening up in the next 2 weeks or so....Location is in Foxboro Mass ...Min's from the 95/495 interchange....
Spoke with the owner today the carpet from CRC is on order and should arrive within a week...He is hoping to be racing within 2 weeks....( Weekend of Halloween?)
.
The track is located behind his fulltime Hobby store...RC Hovers Hobby and he wants to race onroad and oval ( Oval is slated for Sat )
.
The owners name is Jerry and will welcome all classes.....S/K...Pancar...ect...The track will most likely be 60X30...so it should make for some side by side racing......

Steeda28 10-19-2008, 07:39 PM Hey guys with most of us racing at this new track in foxboro, why dont we make a class with LIPO. I'd ike to see maybe the trucks. Brushless 21.5, LIPO batts (don't know the size), and a Truck body. Mabe even spec tires. With everyone having a tough times, this could be way to race cheep. Like to hear some feedback.

bud3738 10-19-2008, 09:06 PM I think we should keep things as is until the dust settles in New England on what capacity Lipo other tracks will be using...so we will have uniform rules.....
also...we wont know what this track will allow until we start logging some laps...
will we want 1c...2c or a 5000 lipo battery.....lets get the cobwebs and dust off and address this issue after the new year...thats my vote
Steeda28 10-20-2008, 05:41 PM I think that LiPO is going to be a great thing. Having a battery that will last all night. Wow. Between brushless and LiPO it will take a lot of cost out of R/C. Also SPEC racing, like our Mod class was fun. I think that a Truck class similar would be great. I'd Like to take to Heath and Mike to see where there going to go. Then mabe after the holidays this might be a way to go. But as for now Lets RACE!!!

DRAmvr94 10-25-2008, 06:20 PM yea about running the trucks with brushless spec tires and lipos i think we should run what we got for now for tires and engines but the lipo batteries don't sound like a bad idea
Steeda28 10-26-2008, 09:16 PM So Rick when does it look like can race or at least test?????
Rick Albernaz
bud3738 10-26-2008, 09:57 PM I have been keeping everyone posted on the other thread....I think we should stick to one...I was there yesterday...the carpet has arrived and laying in the store....They are gonna try to install it starting this week....Build a drivers stand ect.....I would think within a week and a half...to 2 weeks.........should be soon though
