Is this indeed a chase car? If so, and I hate to ask this question, but how much have they been selling for, if at all? I checked eBay and didn't find it.

I would like to trade it for a decent lot of older regular cars from various brands, but I don't want to just give it away.

Regardless, it's still pretty cool. I like these clear ones much better when they're actually clear, I would probably buy this one even if I didn't think it was a chase.

It is, in fact, a "Limited Edition" as M2 chooses to tag them. They are limited to 400. A friend of mine let me have the one he found because he know I collect M2's.

I like these better than the chrome LE's. I've been collecting long enough to have gotten burnt our (and burnt) on Racing Champions chrome and gold chrome chase cars.

The past chase cars were all clear , including the seats & engine . This doesnt look like that . I still like it though . The 54 Merc & 57 Ford are my favorite castings from these cars ...
Hopefully they do an Edsel in the future ...

Actually, sean72, an M2 employee, has told me that it is a chase piece. It does have clear seats and a clear air filter, but you're right about the engine block. It's chrome.
