First off, sorry for the duplicate post, but I put this up on Swifty's Garage already...

I got home on Friday to find this box waiting for me on the couch. I was confused at first until I saw the tape:

Then I knew it was my order from last week. I have spent less on vehicle to drive than I did on this order, but it was worth it! These are amazing and the pictures dont come close to doing justice.

We'll start with the 1967 Ford GT40 MK II in Indianapolis Green:

The detail is simply amazing. All hoses and wiring are there, from spark pulg wires to headlight wires. The gt40 has working hoodpins, all have authentic feel seats and wires, machines valve stems, seat belts, the list just goes on. The porsches included a mini lug wrench that will actually take of the center nut and the tires are removeable. All the calipers, rotors and cooling ducts are all present and true to form. These are truely works of art!!

Thanks for the look!!!

How much were they?

These are a little lower end for Exoto...I think base price was about $250 each for the Porsches and about $300 for the GT40.

Those are sweet, Chris! Especialy the GT 40. I wish I had room to still collect the 1/18 scale stuff, but the majority is packed away in storage.

The 1:18 collecting does take up a lot of room, that actually added to our requirements list on our current house hunt.

The Exotos are amazing, if a bit pricy. I'm lucky to have a GT40 and a pair of Cobra Daytona coupes in my collection.

A bit preicey, but worth it, IMO. I'll probably still stick with the HW Elites and AutoART lines that tend to stick at the $75-100 price point and still have very nice detail. I will likely treat myself to Exotos ever now and then, though.

Any pics of your Exotos??

Very nice. (Love the detail but it's still not enough to convince me to move me to a scale that I don't have room for.) I've been an admirer of Exotos for about 12 years.

Nice cars. I always wanted at least one but never got enough together at the right time to pick one up. Then the urge passed. Now I see your pics makes me want that Purple Porsche. Well maybe not in purple.
