Does racing on Sat still start at 4pm? My concern is with last yrs. halloween race on sat didn't get over with til 3am.

Yes, still 4pm. However we will not be running 7 min quailfiers nor taking any break unlike last year. We will be moving through. we did start about 45 min late last year that will not happen this year. Rest asured that things will move through quickly. We had about 55 entries last week and finished about 10:30pm

What is the reason for not starting the halloween race a couple hrs. earlier? A race like this, which brings more racers out is going to take longer. I know Big Dog said that it will only be 5min. quals and no breaks but with the possibility of it running late as it has in the past couple yrs., some aren't gonna make the trip. I know 5 guys from the Medina area that would go for sure if it was an earlier start.

I seem to remember getting there early last year for the electric race and it did last all day with not that big of a turnout. I'm all for starting in the afternoon since I'd like to get all the track time in that I can being that I've never ran this layout where you guys are getting practice every week. Unless there's a track change?

Electric race starts at noon on Sunday (practice opens at 8AM). We are getting out around 5:30 for a normal club race. I'm expecting the Halloween Race to last till close to 7 depending on turn out. Well see.

This past week end we had 55 entries. We ran (3) 5 min quals, 20 min A mains, a resort and 30 min worth of breaks. Even with all that we finished up just before 10pm. On another note. If I see the entries start filling up fast, I will not hesitate to start early. Please dont be afraid to come because of drive. Heck I know that I have had quite a few late nights in Medina getting home around 3-4am

Sounds like Indiana will be well represented at the electric race. Hope to see some more guys from around Ohio make the trip. This should be a good warm up for the upcoming Jan. Midwest Race.
