View Full Version : Some skellenger parts are available now!!
As some of you know, I purchased the skellenger tooling for many of their items. I have decided to start reproducing these again. They are official reproductions that bear the SEco Skellenger name. More to come in the following months.

Your parts look great. I'll be interested in pricing for the completed units.
Nice job!

Guys, all I have done is had parts made out of patterns I purchased. The real guy to thank is Steve Skellenger and his very kind wife. They gave a lot to this hobby and I am just glad that I have a chance to bring this stuff back.
I am still working on gear options for these. The original spiral bevel gears are very expensive, even in large qty. I am open to all options. I have been looking at straight cut gears as well. This has been the largest problem with this project to date.

Recieved my first batch of gears today! They look fantastic and this is one large piece of the puzzle! Fit and finish on thes are great and they mesh perfect with original gears.

Mike if you mean straight cut gears as the quick change gears. They are known as spur gears.
Quick Change Gears. Make sure the Pitch size is set to 20.Style A is what you want.Same thing as Skellenger.

Thanks ED.
When I was talking about straight cut gears, I was refering to the ring and pinion. I was considering that an option at the time due to cost.
The problem with the rushgears is the cost. The quote they sent me was a bit pricey.
