Thought I'd start this thread for racing on Saturday night in Northern Colorado. Track is 40' x 60', flat and ozite. Located at 1304 Duff Drive, Fort Collins, Colorado. Track opens around noon with racing at 6:00-6:30.

Larry, I stopped by this morning and picked up a 1/12 scale car that was dropped off for me last evening, so I had a chance to talk with Lowell. It sounds like we might have a few other racers joining us Saturday. Probably older wide cars, but should be another good night of racing.

I'll try and get by around noon time, as I need to Un-Wrench the car and I have a new Darkside Solid chassis to build for lipo/17.5.:thumbsup:

Another good weekend of racing. Glad to see a few new faces stopping by and checking out the Oval racing.

Looks like we will have another car or two down this Saturday. If they end up as fast as P-Helps, I may have helped get cars in the field that are beating me!?!:freak:

Anyway, I've talked to Mr. Darkside about doing a practice on the 23rd as I'll miss the race on the 25th (need to have a date night with the wife sometime) to sort out the cars for the Omaha BRL race. Larry you interested??

I've got my 21.5 Lipo car together and will probably run it in a heat or two and most deffinently in the 150 to get some laps in.

Can't believe we are up to 3 heats of 10.5 and 1 heat of vintage. Some very good runs put in by John, Larry and Joe. Wish I could have put in a good run, but hey thats racing.

The 21.5 car that I ran in the 150 lap race really surprised me on how quick the car is. Just need to play the tires and set up a little more befor Omaha in two weeks.

I'm going to miss this weekend, (spending time with my wife) but might try and run some laps on thursday night with Mr. Darkside. So we'll see.

Yes it was a great night of racing. I finally got rid of that little traction rolling problem I was having. I to was impressed with your 21.5 car. I was surprised how fast it was. Its gonna make a great class. See ya in a couple weeks.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Very good turn out this past Saturday evening!!

Had 3 full heats and some good wheels turning laps. Most interesting was Brian Wynn running a Darkside "Rent-A-Ride" as well as another local on road racer running one of my cars. Probably one of the largest turn outs in many years, hoping we can build on it.

I'll try and get a picture or two posted here in the next week or so.

Great racing saturday night, I was really proud of my son qualified 4th in the A main and ran really good in the A main.

I'm not running this week, but should be back on the 29th and then run every other week till Snowbirds. Still have not commited, but 60/40 yes at this point. I'd like to get a class of 21.5's running .... any interest?

That was some fun racing this past weekend. Great crowd and good to see some of the road guys come out and run.

What is the schedule for Zack? I'm trying to run every other week on the oval, and then the other on road on Sunday on the CORRC track.

So if we can get the "Crowd" here everyother week, it would be great.

I also purchased my airline ticket for Snowbirds and looks like I'll be running 21.5 and the COT class for the oval. WGT on road, and maybe a 4th class but we'll see.

Nice run on the oval this evening. Larry and Eric lead the way with myself and Zack pounding our way into the A. Final dust settled and Zack had me ....UGH .... maybe next time.

Also, talk was about running a second class of 21.5 / lipo cars set the BRL rules. So 2-weeks?? Anyone else interested?

I am if I can come up with a motor. Would anyone be interested in running the truck bodies in the 21.5 class to change things up a little. I think that might be fun and also give a different look to the whole deal.

Sorry I missed last night, I was on call for work. I ended up with 40 hours overtime for the whole week. That was plenty. I was gonna come try to run the 150 but I was afraid I would get all the way up their and get called. To bad I stayed home and the phone never rang. I talked to Tony,he said you all had a good time.

I could go either way on the body, so will bring both on the 13th.

I will clean my stuff up and try to get up there in the next couple of weeks or so, I will shoot for the 21st. Assuming that I don't get sick again, I'll be down with a friend from Montanta that is going to run one of my cars. Will probably set him up with a 17.5 lipo so more in the same class.

Please don't take this wrong because I don't want to offend anyone, but I think I am going to go a different direction on the 21.5 class. I think Tony Nicholas and I are going to do a 21.5 truck body class. In my opinion as fast as the 21.5 cars are I don't think its going to be much different then what we are running now. I think the truck bodies will bring a little something different to the whole class, and may even draw in some interest from some other people.
