Has anyone every used one of these ? I know it looks a little too toyish but does it fly ok ? I still consider myself a beginner when it comes to planes but I have flown before and do ok. I am thinking about buying one of these because it is setup to take pics out of the box. Also how well does this thing actually take pics ?

I was part of the design team.

Its based on the older VIP jet they sold through Wal-Mart and catalogs. To bear the weight of the camera, it has upgraded motors. Its sluggish, but it does fly. Bear in mind, this is a vector-steering design, so no tail or wing control surfaces. There have been radio quality problems in the past, and I can't say if those issues have been resolved (I am no longer with the company).

The camera works well enough, but I found a wide range of quality during testing about 1.5 years ago. On a controlled test, I found anything from poor color to severe optical distortion.

Those limitations aside, this is a unique product that DOES WORK.
