I have seen no mention of anyone finding the M2 Machines Chrome '55 DeSoto Chase car . Ive seen none on ebay either ..
My local diecast vendor got one for me in his last batch of M2 cars . Its pretty neat !!

I don't know any specifics on these versions but I found a 57 Ford Fairlane, from the first M2 release, in chrome at (of all places) Wal Mart. Anyone know any production numbers on either the De Soto or the Fairlane? Are there only one car from each release done this way?

The chrome pieces are one of 400 produced. You are correct when you said there is only one car from each release done this way. :thumbsup:

I like the chrome cars . Bought many of the JL ones . I am dissapointed that JL cancelled the Holiday Chrome this year ....

Yep I liked the Chrome JL's as well I have 2 of each on the first few releases I found at retail. I too am saddened by the loss of the Holiday Classics this year.

RC ruined chrome and gold chrome chase cars for me. Can't speak for others.
I collect the M2 chrome chase cars just because they are M2 and limited.
I really wish they would choose a different form for their 1 of 400 cars. I think the black and gold chrome Wild Goose cars are much better looking.
