As you guys learned in my previous thread I am new to the dirt oval thing.

I have found the "Dirt Runners" basiclly in my area, are their any others (Central to Northern NJ)?

I don't know how hard core most of these guys are, will I even be able to compete with a mostly stock car?

What class would you run? There are some hard core racers there. We run sprint car, nitro and electric truck, mini, Rustler spec, and ocassionally monster trucks when enough show up.

if you took care of the oval maybe some more dirt oval guys would show up.

Jerzferno, I was looking to just start out in a novice class and see were it goes from there. I will likely stick with electric. For now I would like to just find a place to practice.

We have a novice oval class. Go to www.Dirtrunners.com. You can see the rules for each class. You can go to the track and practice anytime you like. The season is now over and the track will no longer be maintained.

I think it was directed to whoever does track prep maybe you need to look at some of the PA tracks.

Doesnt really matter to me. I race off road. This guy is talking with no fact. The oval at our club was immaculate this year. It was dragged and rolled every Saturday prior to the races. Just about every class set new records many times throughout the season. So it must be in decent shape. Come on down and judge for yourself rather than post nonsense. Maybe it wasnt maintained in the past? Im only a member for the past 3 seasons. Totally different storiy now. Besides this is a club with a family atmosphere where we race for FUN and make many friends. This doesnt pay our bills.
